What's Next for PSA?

  • April results reinforced the key trends we’ve seen so far in 2025. PSA continues to hit new highs in overall grading activity, driven largely by growth in TCG submissions. That growth more than offset ongoing declines in baseball and basketball activity, which have now fallen to levels last seen in 2023.
  • Operationally, PSA appears to be in a bit of a steady state. TCG and GameStop continue to drive activity, while promotions have remained intentionally limited. Capacity constraints have also capped near-term upside. As it stands, we expect these trends to continue throughout May and June.

April 2025 SGC Grading Recap

What's Next for CGC?

  • CGC set a new high for grading activity in April, driven almost entirely by TCG submissions. With hobby-wide momentum in TCG still running strong, we would not be surprised to see similar results in May.

What's Next for Beckett?

  • Beckett’s grading activity dipped in April, reflecting declines across sports categories. Adjusting for the March boost (due to January and February pop report delays), the April change was relatively modest.
  • While Beckett has regained some momentum in 2025, the changes appear to be mostly marginal rather than anything that could yield meaningful incremental growth. Without a strong promotion or notable announcement, we expect similar results in May and June.
